Title of the Page

Whatever the page is about goes here. These are my HTML cheats:

This is for a line break. The P's are for paragraph breaks.

That was a page break. I, B, and U are great, but this is also bold, and this is also italic. This should be struck out. The page starts with Heading One; headings go on new lines even if they're not in a paragraph.

This is heading two.

Three!

Four,

five,
six

This is how to change a paragraph's font.

This is how to change a paragraph's font to a font name with multiple words in the name.

I am hoping this is Black Chancery.

This is a paragraph with a footnote in it [1]. You know what, let's have two footnotes [2].

This is a paragraph where the footnotes have a return link.3, and superscript tags, which aren't really my thing but it's nice to have them here.4

  1. This is an ordered list.
  2. The code for an unordered list?
  3. That's in the sidebar.

This is how to embed an email address.

This is a small portrait-oriented placeholder image. It is of no particular importance.
That is how to add alt text and tooltips/hover text to an image. It is important for accessibility that the alt text be a description of the image; the tooltip can be whatever clever thing I want it to be. This is my favorite book of hours and how to do an accute accent: Trés Riches Heures du Duc de Berry.

I will update this page with new HTML goodies I want to use as I learn them.

[1] here is where Footnote 1 lands. Look, you click and it snaps down here! You have to hit Back to go back to yourplace in the text, though.

[2] Footnote #2 lands here! Very convenient.

Sadly, the fancy little triangle from the AO3 guide I copied this from does not like to be pasted, so I have replaced it with a carat, I think it's called.^

The Terry Pratchett fandoms are very invested in having smooth, streamlined footnotes.^

This link should take you to the top of the page. It's going to be very handy for pages with a load of subsections!

This is the HTML for adding something to the Resources page:

This is me testing whether or not I can nest lists.

  • Thing One
    • Thing 1a
  • Thing Two
  • Thing Three
